Building upon a trip the program took with a team in 2018, the focus of this trip is to continue to provide tools to our student for holistic success in school, their families, and their communities. Our objective is to create a space for students to think boldly, challenge assumptions, work together, and learn new ideas. We aim to give them both an experience and a skill set that sets them apart and prepares them for the future.
Our job as an organization is not to come and dictate the standard for their lives, but to provide a space of learning and exploration that removes limits in order for them to be who they truly are.
This is the mindset we want to share with our students for their own lives.
Teaming up with a group of natives with experience in Uganda’s education system and working with youth, our conference includes workshops on managing strengths and weaknesses, finding their life’s passions, working well with others, integrity-based living, and career aptitude from hearing from successful professionals throughout Uganda. We will also be volunteering, teaching, and ministering at local churches to spread this message to youth outside of schools. We are immensely excited to be giving students this unique experience and to see what will come from this. Remember to stay connected with us!
